My fondest memories of Halloween growing up, were not only the excitement of dressing up and collecting candy but the hot cocoa my mom used to send us out with. Not only did it keep us warm as we drank it, but we also felt the love!

Today, I continue this tradition with my girls. My Cinnamon Honey Hot Cocoa is not only sweet chocolaty and delicious but simple and keeps them warm with mom’s love!

Cinnamon Honey Hot Cocoa Made with Moms Love
Yield: 4 servings

6 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
4 Tbsp pure honey
4 pinches of salt
4 cups of milk
Cinnamon for sprinkling
Fresh whip cream (optional)
Lots of moms love
In a small saucepan, over medium heat, whisk together the cocoa, honey, salt, and 8 tablespoons of milk until well blended.

Whisk in the rest of the milk and continue heating over medium heat, until it is hot.

Sprinkle with cinnamon. If you are using the fresh whip cream, place a dollop on top first and then sprinkle with cinnamon!

Thanks Irene! I feel the love already!
