A few months ago, I was gifted with the best thing I’ve received in a very long time…a good night’s sleep. I took my sleep for granted for a long time. I wasn’t sleeping on a proper mattress and I just kept putting off getting a new one using excuses like “I don’t have the money right now” or “I don’t have the time to put into shopping for a new mattress”.
A little over 100 days ago, I received a king-size Endy (retails for $950 CAD) and I put it on a platform bed frame which meant I didn’t need a box spring. I also received Endy sheets and pillows which were a fabulous addition to the mattress. The mattress comes in a box that is no bigger than a large hockey bag. I was so impressed with how easy it was to set up! I was actually a little bit nervous about it, but it took me less than an hour!
I get asked a lot about the pricing of the Endy mattresses – so I’m going to put that here because it’s important: (Prices in CAD):
Twin $675, Twin XL $700, Double $775, Queen $850, King $950, Cal King $950
Shipping is free to any province in Canada. Each mattress comes with a 10-year warranty and every customer receives a 100-night trial period with easy returns. If you’re not satisfied, you can get your money back. They aim to donate any mattresses that don’t make it past the 100 Night Trial period to Canadians in need. They have donated over 5,500 mattresses across Canada! Basically, you have nothing to lose when you try an Endy mattress and so much great sleep will you gain!
From the very beginning I noticed a huge change in my sleep. My initial observations were that when I laid down I felt weightless and supported. This is because of the Endy Comfort Foam which has a unique open air cell structure. It’s designed to provide perfect support while reducing pressure and contouring to the body.
When I slept on my old mattress, I realized I would often have numbing in my hip or shoulder/upper back. With the Endy mattress, this NEVER happens. This is because Endy mattresses have Perfect Firmness. Each Microscopic air cell acts as an individual shock absorber, releasing air independently as pressure increases. This results in reduced pressure to the back and hip.
One thing I was skeptical about with this mattress was the ability to be breathable. Sweating while sleeping is never comfortable. However with the Endy mattress, I felt as though my body was always at a perfect temperature. During the colder months, I sleep with the Endy sheet and a thin fleece blanket and I never sweat but I am cozy and warm. I learned that Endy foam is temperature sensitive so it releases body heat faster than conventional foam to prevent hot spots, and it does this year-round. The foam is Canadian-made and manufactured and is CertiPUR-US certified so there is no formaldehyde, phthalates, or flame retardants. I can rest easy knowing my mattress isn’t releasing any harmful chemicals while I sleep.
I have two young boys who love to visit during the night. On my old coil mattress, I would be shook awake as soon as they would try to enter my bed. From day one with the Endy mattress, I never feel my boys coming into my bed during the night. Endy mattresses are motion transfer resistant. The cell structure of the foam gives the foam a great feel and bounce while decreasing motion transfer so I can get uninterrupted sleep!
Uninterrupted, restorative sleep is what I was after and I definitely got it with my Endy mattress.
